Enhance Land and Planning’s Gilly attains RTPI Chartered Town Planner Status! Our Planning Manager Gilly has become a Chartered Town Planner, the ultimate qualification for the profession that is awarded exclusively by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Gilly joined us in April 2019, and since has worked on multiple projects of varying scales, enjoying many successes along the way. She has been following the RTPI’s Associate Assessment of Professional Competence, and is now Chartered.
Gilly said “I am delighted to have achieved Chartered status. Since becoming an Associate member of the RTPI in August 2016 I have been working towards this goal, so it is incredibly satisfying to have fulfilled this ambition.” The RTPI is Europe’s largest professional body for planners, with 25,000 members worldwide working in public, private, charitable and education sectors.
As well as promoting spatial planning, the Institute sets high standards for planning education and is the only body in the UK that accredits Chartered Town Planners. All routes to become an RTPI Chartered Town Planner are competency-based to enable practitioners from different academic backgrounds and experience to demonstrate the high standards required.
