Gilly Slater MSc MRTPI CEnv MIEnvSc Director/Partner
Gilly grew up in Cornwall and her love of the Cornish countryside and coast, coupled with her passion for the environment, led her to pursue a career in sustainable development. She has worked for charities and environmental and planning consultancies throughout her career, and is experienced in securing permission for large scale renewable energy schemes, residential developments and commercial projects. Gilly holds a BA(Hons) degree in Town Planning from Newcastle University, and an MSc degree in Sustainable Development with Climate Change and Environment from Exeter University. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a Chartered Environmentalist status, and a Full Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences. In her spare time, Gilly loves keeping active – playing tennis, surfing, mountain biking and horse riding, or going for long walks with her rescue dog, Fizz. She is also a keen artist and regularly exhibits her work around Cornwall.
